Abstract
The purpose of this project is to raise funds for Southern Utah University’s student-run theater organization Second Studio. Funds will be raised through a Cabaret performance. This Cabaret will attempt to open up performance opportunities to all students at SUU as well as the surrounding community. This project hopes to monetarily assist Second Studio as they attempt to produce higher quality productions and ease some of the monetary strain that comes from the production of live theater.
Deliverables
At the end of this project, I will provided, a brief highlight reel of the auditions and performance process of my Cabaret. In addition to this, I will provide an accounting of funds raised for Second Studio and a total count of participants and audience.

Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to raise funds for Southern Utah University’s student-run theater organization Second Studio. Funds will be raised through a Cabaret performance. This Cabaret will attempt to open up performance opportunities to all students at SUU as well as the surrounding community. This project hopes to monetarily assist Second Studio as they attempt to produce higher quality productions and ease some of the monetary strain that comes from the production of live theater.
Outcomes:
The outcomes of this project where to provide monetary assistance to SUU’s Second Studio in the hope that they will be able to produce theater that might be too costly for them currently. In addition, this project provided performance opportunity for students and the community.
These outcomes where achieved by the funds of 111 dollars being raised at the event. While this might not seem like allot of money it does help greatly in the production of theater as every dollar counts when it comes to the production of quality theater. In addition to this the outcome of providing performance opportunity to students and the community was met by the seven performers we had participate. One of the performers was not currently a student at SUU and the other six where SUU Students.
Goals:
The goal of my project was to raise funds for SUUs Second Studio. This goal was achieved by setting up a donation box in the performance space where those in attendance could make anonymous donations. No entry fee was charged but donations were encouraged throughout the event. Total funds raised was 111 dollars.
Deliverables:
The Deliverables for this project are a brief Highlight reel of the audition and performance process and an accounting of funds raised for Second Studio and a total count of participants and audience members. One change accord to my deliverables accord, there is no audition footage in my highlight reel. Due to the sheer struggle I had getting participants over the two weeks I blocked out for auditions, and due to the availability of those who were willing to participate I no in person auditions accord. sadly none of the participants where able to meet during those weeks for a formal audition due to their schedules. This was the only change that accord.

On this page there is a written account of performers participating, audience attendance and funds raised. On this page there is also an imbedded YouTube video of my three minute Highlight reel.
